What time does the stock market open and close in the USA?

- Pre-market trading hours: 4.00 am to 9.30 am ET Monday to Friday
- Standard trading hours: 9.30 am to 4.00 pm ET Monday to Friday
- After hours trading: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm ET Monday to Friday
ET refers to Easter time zone. Without day light savings it clocks 5 hours behind the Greenwich Mean time and during the day light savings, it clocks 4 hours behind the Greenwich mean time.
