At the New York Stock Exchange, stock trading starts at 9:30 AM EST and continues till 4 PM EST normal market operation timings.

NYSE also allows pre-market and after-hours market trading. The premarket trading timings are 4.00 AM to 9.30 AM and the timing for after-hours trading is 4.00 PM to 8 PM.
The Timings of the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation System (NASDAQ) are as follows:

In NASDAQ, the timing of pre-market and after-hours raiding remain the same i.e. it starts at 9:30 AM EST and continues till 4 PM EST.
