Closing your SBICap Securities Demat Account
In case you are no longer interested to invest in the market, if you are planning to shift abroad or if you would like to change your Depository participant, it is wise to close your Demat account than to open annual maintenance charges on an inactive account. SBI does not charge any fees on closure of its Demat account.

First, ensure your account has no pending dues and no securities left—sell them or transfer them to another Demat account. Next, download or collect the Demat Account Closure Form from SBICap Securities, fill in your details, and sign it as per your records. Submit the completed form along with any unused DIS slips at the nearest SBICap Securities or SBI branch handling Demat services, or send it by post/courier to the address mentioned on the form.
