Sovereign gold bond certificate not received, How to get it?

If you haven’t recieved your sovereign gold bond certificate yet, you can wait 2-3 months to ge tit. If you haven’t got it still, then head onto sbg@rbi.org to get a complete update on the status of your certificate.

The RBI issues sovereign gold bond certificates once the application is filled, submitted, and approved. With that being said, if you have a Demat account, crediting the sovereign bonds to your account takes not much time but a couple of minutes at most. However, to get the E-certificate that should be sent to your email address by the RBI will take weeks.

Moreover, it should take 2-3 months for the past couple of years; they are issuing the certificate for a 2-3 month time period. However, even after this period, you haven’t received your certificate, then you could head to sbg@rbi.org to check on the update of your bond.

However, it’s a better deed to check your spam folder as well to see whether or not you have gotten it. If nothing works out and there is no solution to your problem, you could head to the physical office of SHCIL and get to know the status of your certificate.
